PJ Old Town, Petaling Jaya
PJ Old Town is a leasehold town located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. It was a rubber estate that became the first settlement of the satellite city in 1952, hence the name 'Old Town'. Many single-storey houses in the area are still in its original wooden design or 'three-feet brick house' design, and there is a large industrial area to the west. Being the oldest part of the city, it has its share of problems like insufficient parking spaces, old, single homeless folks, and urban poor.
