Bukit Gasing, Petaling Jaya

Bukit Gasing (also known as Section 5 & formerly known as Gasing Heights) is a freehold town that is located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Bukit Gasing, a residential area located on the skirts of the Bukit Gasing Forest Park hill, has been lucky to have their side of the hill saved from further development as it was gazetted as a reserve area. However, there are some issues that have been reported by the residents. Abandoned cars can be spotted throughout the area which serve as an eyesore and a potential hazard. Additionally, the influx of wild monkeys has been a concern, especially with their tendency to disrupt rubbish bins and cause other damage. Illegal stalls dotted across the area have also caused some nuisance. Finally, the threat of termite infestations has put many trees at risk, which has further provoked concern among residents. Nevertheless, Bukit Gasing has still proven to be a desirable location for real estate investing.
