Bukit Gasing, Petaling Jaya
Bukit Gasing (also known as Section 5 & formerly known as Gasing Heights) is a freehold town located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The name is derived from its location on the skirts of the Bukit Gasing Forest Park hill. Residents here were lucky that their side of the hill were gazetted as a reserve area before it was further developed like the Kuala Lumpur side of the hill. However, there have been a few issues that were reported by the residents including abandoned cars, a surge of wild monkey population, illegal stalls, and termite-infested trees.
The built-up available in this town is 2,500 sf to 12,000 sf for houses. Other neighbouring towns nearby are Jalan Puchong, PJ New Town, PJ Old Town, PJS 3, Pantai Baru, Petaling Utama, Section 13, Section 14, Section 19 and Section 51A.

There are also some schools here, for example Beaconhouse Gasing Preschool, Catholic High School, SK Assunta Dua, SK Jalan Selangor (1) and SK Methodist.
Lastly, the transit stations here are Komuter Jalan Templer, Komuter Pantai Dalam, Komuter Petaling, LRT Asia Jaya and LRT Taman Jaya.
