Pahang is a state of Malaysia that is located in the east coast region of the country peninsula. Pahang is the largest state in Peninsular Malaysia. It has everything from top to bottom. Top in this case refers to the mountain and bottom refers to the sea. The highest point in Peninsular Malaysia, Mount Tahan with the height of 2,187 m is located within the National Forest in the state of Pahang. Not only that but Pahang is also home to the main highland areas like Bukit Tinggi, Cameron Highlands, Fraser's Hill, and Genting Highlands. Other tourism hotspots includes the Tioman Island and picturesque beaches like Cherating, Teluk Cempedak, Berserah, Batu Hitam and Tanjung Sepat that are stretched along the long coastline. All that being said, Pahang is also an economically essential state in Peninsular Malaysia with main activities in service, manufacturing and agricultural sectors.

Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park (MCKIP), the first Malaysia National Industrial Park joint developed by both Malaysia and China, is located in Kuantan, the capital city of Pahang. MCKIP is strategicaly situated in the East Coast Economic Region (ECER), facing the South China Sea, a gateway access to tremendous growth potential of ASEAN and Asia Pacific market, and worldwide markets.
