Jinjang is a town that is located in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. Jinjang, a suburb located in the northern part of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, is known for being divided into two sections, the Jinjang Selatan and Jinjang Utara. In the past, this area had a notorious reputation, particularly in the 1960s through the late 1980s, because of its association with gangsterism activities. It used to be feared by many people largely due to the notorious "robber kingpin" Botak Chin active during those times. However, with time, the area has undergone significant transformation and has developed residential communities, and now, it is quite peaceful with many decent living amenities. Despite its problematic past, which may have left a long-lasting impression on its residents, Jinjang's reputation is gradually undergoing transformation, and today it is a large residential area providing the locals with peaceful living and access to various facilities.
