Incinerator in this area is no longer applicable? sorry if I've missed the news.. but the land fill still smelly..

Personally... I against they reclaim the lake for commercial development... It is for water detention purpose....

Hopefully they cancel that incinerator outright and drop the bidding. But now only left the landfill.

I wonder if there are any plans to move it elsewhere coz I recall that those living nearby complained of how bad the smell is.

They are treating the landfills, based on what I saw. I think, eventually it will go too as it's a big piece of land.

how actually it matters whether the land was tin mining , garbage landfil or reclamation? got safety or fengshui issue or it depends on the individual?

If landfills are not properly stabilized, due to earth movement or stress conditions may cause liquefaction of the ground structures of the building in long term

Each to its own.

If you think landfill, ex tin mining land and reclaimed land are safe, then go for it.
