Taman U-Thant, Jalan Ampang
Taman U-Thant is a freehold town located in Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur. It is an upscale residential enclave that has a few embassies and foreign ambassadors' residences. It was established in the 1960's and named after the former United Nations secretary general who served from 1961 to 1971. Many residential units here have sophisticated architectures and the nearest train station is LRT Ampang Park.

There are also some universities here, for example Advance Tertiary College (ATC), Erican College (KLCC Campus), Inti International College Kuala Lumpur, Optopreneur College, Smart College and Yes International College (fka Yes Academy).
Lastly, the schools here are SMK Puteri Ampang and The International School Of Kuala Lumpur (Iskl).
