Petaling Jaya (juga dikenali sebagai Damansara) ialah sebuah bandaraya yang terletak di Selangor, Malaysia. Petaling Jaya, yang biasanya dirujuk sebagai "PJ" oleh penduduk tempatan, adalah sebuah kawasan kejiranan yang sibuk yang terkenal dengan masyarakat berbilang budaya dan pelbagai. Walaupun PJ mempunyai daya tarikan yang tersendiri, ia amat menarik minat masyarakat Cina yang berpendidikan Inggeris. Penduduk yang berpendidikan cenderung untuk menarik orang ramai yang banyak menyumbang kepada pertumbuhan dan pembangunan kejiranan. Kejiranan PJ terdiri daripada kemudahan yang sangat baik seperti restoran, taman, pusat membeli-belah dan sekolah, menjadikannya tempat yang sangat baik untuk tinggal, bekerja atau memiliki pelaburan hartanah. Penduduknya biasanya menyatakan kadar kepuasan kualiti hidup di kawasan itu, menjanjikan pulangan untuk ekspatriat yang memulakan pelaburan hartanah atau meneroka peluang dalam landskap perniagaan yang berkembang pesat di kawasan kejiranan.
Antara mercu tanda yang terkenal di bandaraya ini ialah Nucleus Tower, Menara KLK, Imazium, 1 Powerhouse dan Menara Mudajaya. Selain itu, ada juga beberapa pusat membeli-belah di sini, cth. Atria Shopping Centre, SStwo Mall, 3 Damansara, Medan Maju Jaya dan Citta Strip Mall.
Bandaraya ini mempunyai beberapa kemudahan berdekatan, cth. universiti, stesen transit, hospital dan sekolah. Berikut adalah beberapa universiti utama di sini:

Terdapat juga beberapa hospital di sini, seperti Columbia Asia Hospital, KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital, Ozone Hospital, Primanora Medical Centre dan Regen Rehab Hospital.
Akhir sekali, sekolah di sini adalah Beaconhouse Sri Inai International School, SK Damansara Jaya 1 dan SMK Taman Tun Dr Ismail.

Stayed here for several days thru Airbnb. The entire residential floor has very bad air flow and ventilation, where there is no window along the corridor. While inside the unit, it felt very stuffy, due to sealed loft windows and lack of fresh air.
The outside looks very high -class but inside looks like cheap low-cost flats! Besides, there is no ground facilities, all entrances are located in the basement.
Everything is good except for the fact that the space at the entrance of the parking is a little too tight for its design. It takes effort for some cars to turn at the corners.
Bad accessibility from LDP, have to go thru a narrow tunnel.
Parking system a little messed up..
Better security now. Owners who have more than 1 car might need to park outside at the roadside.
Share facilities with the hotel, need to walk a distance..

Management very responsive to residents' feedback. Public transport includes the PJ03 (one of the PJ free bus) and a shuttle bus to the Kelana Jaya LRT station. Very convenient place with basic amenities like bank, food, grocery and so on within walking distance.
The neighbourhood under the watch of security positioned at Jalan 17/58 feels safe as they guards take turns to patrol the area quite often and they recognises the residents.
Populated with lots of foreigners working in the nearby malls. Very attractive for student rental as it is the only condo that offers room rentals at a much lower rate compared to nearby condos
Visited a friend here, a reasonably quiet residential neighborhood with low density. If youre looking for a high end place/future investment, this is the perfect place for u. Good management and security. Visitors can park near guardhouse (to avoid excessive amount of vehicles inside that would annoy other residents)
Security sometimes doesnt understand what you said and the narrow entrance at the guardhouse sometimes causing an unnecessary queue...
Strategically located cuz building is connected to LRT Lembah Subang. But very poor management and security. Got few complaints about intruder in few months and management handle this poorly. There are also very limited CCTV in the building.
Corridor is air-conditioned. Good experience staying here with good view. Can go to Paradigm Mall thru the bridge link and security is very good here. U can see that they take security very well here. Bad side is, tenant usually leave rubbish by the door, makes corridor smelly.
Elevators always broke down. Have to bring all rubbish down to G floor for throwing it away.
I encounter many defects here from lifts broken down, ceiling leaks and cracks reappear even after repair. Building is less than 1 year old but so many defects....
I like this place, very convenient for grocery and food. The mall below is just nice, not very crowded like other malls.
Old condo, but out of service. Have to wait almost 30 mins for the lift cuz only got 1 functioning lift. Security is tight but pointless if the lift is like this.
Traffic jam is so bad on daily basis, took me so long to even go to the main road.
